MASK is a collection of virtual reality wearables inspired by communication difficulties. With visual and physical manipulation of a MASK, how can we shift identity by changing ours and others’ perspective? Will it change the way we connect to each other?

Using mobile phones, Google Cardboard, Chrome browser, Arduino, customized bio-sensors and masks, MASK explores identity through experiences in both the virtual and real world.

Users can interact with the people that inhabit both worlds, addressing social anxiety, distance, isolation, and nonverbal communication.
